What changes
The new authority controls later freezing and unfreezing. Existing frozen accounts keep their state until an authorized unfreeze.
A new operations wallet can take over freeze controls without changing who owns the tokens.
Common problem
Will handing over authority unfreeze accounts?
No. Account state and authority ownership are separate. The new authority must explicitly unfreeze any affected account.
