Transfer token ownership on Ethereum
Nominate a new owner for a compatible token on Ethereum. For two-step ownership, the nominated wallet must separately accept before control changes.

Token controls
Actions depend on this token’s current permissions. Removed authorities cannot be restored.
Project page & links
Publish a public project page or update its links. Approve edits with the project owner’s wallet message. This does not change on-chain metadata.
Contract source
Before you start
A compatible token’s current owner wallet and a verified proposed owner address on Ethereum.
How to use this tool
- Inspect the token’s current owner and pending owner.
- Enter the proposed new owner address.
- Review the handover; for two-step ownership, the nominated wallet must accept next.
What changes
For a two-step token, nomination creates a pending owner. Control changes only when that wallet accepts; this does not transfer token balances.
Nominate a new treasury wallet, then connect that wallet to accept the handover.
Common problem
Why does the old wallet still show as owner?
A pending nomination is not a completed transfer. Connect the nominated wallet and approve acceptance on the same network.
Network and protocol costs are separate. Your transaction review shows the current amounts.
