Before you start
The current owner of a compatible token. Resume transfers, remove delegated permissions and review blocklists and limits before giving up control.
How to use this tool
- Inspect the token, make sure transfers are resumed and remove all delegated permissions.
- Clear restrictions you do not want to leave permanently and finish any administrator tasks.
- Review the permanent loss of owner controls and approve renunciation.
What changes
Owner-only access is removed permanently. Remaining taxes, blocklists, limits and other restrictions do not automatically disappear.
Unblock an account and finish your tax settings first; no owner can repair those settings after renunciation.
Common problem
Why is renunciation blocked?
The tool requires an unpaused token and removal of delegated permissions. Resume transfers and inspect the token again before retrying.
Network and protocol costs are separate. Your transaction review shows the current amounts.
