Make token metadata immutable on Solana
Permanently lock a Solana token’s on-chain metadata against further edits. Check the name, symbol and metadata URI before making it immutable.

Token controls
Actions depend on this token’s current permissions. Removed authorities cannot be restored.
Project page & links
Publish a public project page or update its links. Approve edits with the project owner’s wallet message. This does not change on-chain metadata.
Contract source
Before you start
Mutable Solana metadata and the current update-authority wallet. Verify the final name, symbol, JSON URI and artwork before continuing.
How to use this tool
- Inspect the token and open the metadata document it currently references.
- Finish any required edits before making metadata immutable.
- Review and approve the permanent metadata lock.
What changes
Supported on-chain metadata can no longer be edited. This does not make an externally hosted JSON file or image immutable by itself.
Correct a misspelled token name and verify the image before making the metadata immutable.
Common problem
Can I fix the metadata URI afterward?
No. Complete URI corrections first. Use storage whose permanence and availability fit your project before locking the on-chain reference.
Network and protocol costs are separate. Your transaction review shows the current amounts.
