How to create a meme coin.
Choose a network, set a fixed supply and review the cost of creating your meme token.
Before you start
- Choose a live network and a wallet that supports it.
- Prepare the name, symbol, supply, decimals and any project artwork.
- Fund the wallet with the network’s native coin for creation and network costs.
Choose your network
Choose from the live networks in the menu or on the homepage. Each network has its own token standard, wallet connection and costs. Creating a token on one network does not automatically create it on the others.
Set the name, symbol and supply
A meme coin uses the same token mechanics as other fungible tokens. Choose a name, a short symbol and an initial supply. Most templates send the full initial supply to your wallet and prevent later minting. XRP Ledger MPT creation instead sets a permanent issuance cap and starts with zero circulation; distribution comes afterward. Upload artwork if you want an image in your public metadata.
Understand decimals and costs
Decimals determine the smallest transferable token unit. They also affect the largest supply that fits the network limit. Review the service fee in your network’s native currency, plus network gas and any Solana account rent. The creator validates the supply and prepares an exact quote before asking you to sign.
Approve creation from your wallet
Connect a wallet for the selected network and check the name, supply, recipient and costs. Your approval covers creation and the native service payment. Protocols differ: TON uses asynchronous messages and conditional settlement, while other supported networks use a transaction or atomic group. Token creation and trading are separate
Creating a meme coin does not establish a price, open a trading market, add liquidity or list it on an exchange. Those steps require separate arrangements. The generator creates the token itself; it does not promise buyers, trading activity or returns.
Decide the permissions first
The Meme preset starts with simple settings. If you need later minting, taxes or other administration, open the token creator and choose a compatible preset before creating the token.
Common problems
The token exists, but it is not trading.
Token creation does not create a market. A liquidity pool, trading setup and any listing are separate steps after creation.
The chosen supply does not fit.
Supply and decimals share the network’s amount limit. Reduce the supply or choose fewer decimals, then review the configuration again.
